Inspired by the spirit of Louis Vuitton's ready-to-wear collections, Monogram Vernis is a vivacious, sparkling, ultra-feminine fashion line. Patent calfskin bags and accessories in a range of unusual, subtle colours highlight the famous Monogram canvas pattern.
Special tanning techniques give the leather a glossy and sophisticated look and make it resistant to abrasion and scratches.

Avoid prolonged contact with any materials that may transfer their color pigments onto the patent leather (magazines, other leathers).

MONOGRAM DENIM
Made of carefully selected very high quality cottons, the Monogram Denim canvas is both supple and strong. To get a real “used” effect, the Monogram Denim canvas is bleached and stonewashed, giving it a distinctive and “vintage” look.
As on a genuine pair of stonewashed jeans:
- Some small differences in color on the same canvas or from one product to another might be seen.
- The “used” effect given intentionally by the stonewash will become more visible with time.
- Softness of the canvas, enhanced by the stonewash, may create some slight variations in the position of the Monogram.
All these specificities are inherent to the Demin and to the stonewash process. They enhance the unique appearance of these products.

The Monogram Denim Canvas is water-repellent. In case of superficial stains, clean it by wiping it with a slightly dampened and light cloth avoiding the contact with leather pieces. As a genuine pair of jeans, the blue colour is very sensitive and may slightly release.

MONOGRAM MULTICOLORE CANVAS
Louis Vuitton has imagined for you a new interpretation of the Monogram canvaswith 33 colors that made the famous canvas travel through the years. With time, the canvas may slightly fade, revealing the canvas background. This phenomenon does not deteriorate the quality and durability of your product.
To preserve the beauty of your product as long as possible, we recommend you follow these few instructions:
- Avoid exposing your bag, small leather good or accessory to sunlight, the silk-screen printing colors may fade. Bright and light colors are particularly sensitive to light, due to the pigments used.
- Store your article in the felt pouch provided to protect it.
- Prevent your bag from humidity and keep it away from direct sources of heat (radiators, inside of cars in summer).
- Avoid prolonged contact with any material that may transfer its color pigments onto the coated canvas (magazines, other leathers...) particularly onto the white canvas: any color migration on the light canvas is definitive.
- Light coated canvases are permeable to grease and make-up. Although they are easier to soil than the other canvases, they are easy to clean: you can wipe the coated canvas with a light and soft cloth.

EPI LEATHER
Inspired by the grained leather used by Louis Vuitton in the 1920s, Epi leather is tanned with plant extracts, then deep-dyed.
Its originality comes from the two tones obtained from a shine and a special colouring on the top of the grain. Epi leather is water repellent and is resistant to scratches. This coloured range includes five colours : black, red, myrtille, mandarine and moka.
This range is composed of luggage and travel accessories, city bags and small leather goods in sober and elegant shapes.
In 2006, the Epi line is modernized with new silver metallic pieces.
